Down The Memory Hole

 I do not watch cable news or broadcast for that matter but I do read political and news sites online. I only saw one reference to Pearl Harbor yesterday and it was about not seeing articles about Dec.7.

Are our cultural memories getting shorter or is this normal?  What has it been, four generations? 

I haven't a clue where I was going with this. Could be because I feel my past is being erased or the fact that I've lived past my sell by date.
