All the electronic gadgets can be a help with your grow but the bottom line a little knowledge and your eyes and fingers are the best tools in the box. An example, this AM when checking the Photo plants with the big pH and Moisture meter to see if they were ready for water and nutrients all the plants were ok on pH (<7.0, most were close to 6.5) and according to the moisture meter I could wait another day for feed and water.
Not so fast Bubba, The Banana Kush in the middle of the tent leafs were slightly drooping, well maybe more than slightly, they were looking like the plant was in distress even though the test readings were pH just under 7.0 and the moisture meter sat right in the middle of the wet/dry scale.
Trust your eyes, I added a couple of liters of pH adjusted water (6.0) to its pot and within 15 minutes the leaves were back to normal.
One disaster avoided. I'll wait until tomorrow to water and feed the rest of the plants.

Plants are very sensitive to their environments. When you think about it, humans are just like plants, but with emotional baggage. :-)
